DishMe AI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) builds tools that help you turn the food you already have into meals you’ll love. This policy explains what data our iOS app and website collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

• On-device data. Ingredient photos, recognized items, and generated recipes are processed and stored on your device whenever possible.
• Optional cloud processing. Some features may require secure cloud processing (e.g., improved recognition or backup). We’ll clearly disclose this in-app before use.
• Crash/diagnostics (optional). If you opt in, we may collect anonymous diagnostics to improve stability.

How We Use Information

Data is used to provide core app functionality (ingredient recognition, recipe suggestions, step guidance), improve product performance, and—if you opt in—send you product updates or support responses.

Analytics & Ads

We do not serve third-party ads. Basic, privacy-respecting analytics may be used on our website to understand aggregate traffic.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers under contract (e.g., cloud infrastructure) solely to operate the service, or if required by law.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information. If you back up data to your iCloud account, it’s protected by Apple’s security and your device settings.

Your Choices

• Use the in-app controls to clear photos and generated recipes.
• Uninstalling the app removes on-device data. Cloud backups you created can be deleted from within the app.

Children’s Privacy

DishMe AI is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here and update the effective date.
